I recently had a wonderful stay at a charming hotel nestled in the heart of the stunning Welsh countryside. The location of this hotel is simply idyllic, tucked away from the busier tourist areas, yet still close enough to explore the magical Mawddach valley and the beautiful coastline. The staff at this hotel are incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that every aspect of my stay was enjoyable. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a lovely afternoon tea, which was a delightful touch. The rooms were comfortable and well-appointed, with a cozy fireplace and extremely comfy beds. The large bathroom on the first floor was a pleasant surprise, offering plenty of space to relax and unwind. And let's not forget the delicious breakfast - the fresh fruit selection was absolutely fantastic and set me up for a day of adventures.
All in all, my experience at this hotel was superb and I couldn't fault a thing.

Dolserau Hall in Snowdonia offers great value for money. The prices are reasonable, and the hotel pays attention to detail. The location is ideal, away from the crowded tourist areas below Cader Idris, yet close to the coast and the idyllic Mawddach valley. The staff provides excellent service, and the basic amenities are well-maintained. The rooms are comfortable, with a great view and some even have a large bathroom on the first floor. Afternoon tea is served shortly after arrival, and the breakfast includes fantastic fresh fruit.
All was fine, no improvements needed.

Our stay at this hotel was incredible. The location, tucked away down a peaceful country lane, was perfect for exploring the stunning Snowdonia National Park. The hotel's setting was superb, surrounded by picturesque landscapes including the idyllic Mawddach valley and beautiful coastline. We were pleasantly surprised by the comfortable and period-style room, which added to the overall charm of our stay. The hotel facilities were great, with everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The staff, especially Lou and Kelly, were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing us with brochures and recommendations for places to visit and things to do in the area. The freshly made breakfast offered a wide variety of options to choose from, ensuring a delicious start to our day.
Not one thing.

Lovely Christmas stay with delicious food and friendly staff. The daily walks around the local area were great for burning off the Christmas dinner. , the cozy fireplace in the lounge area was a perfect spot to warm up. Surrounded by beautiful countryside, it was a great location for a quiet retreat.
The room was quite dated and could do with an update, especially the bathroom. , the car park was quite inconveniently located, requiring a walk down a muddy path.

The location of the hotel was great, with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. the staff was friendly and accommodating, always willing to help. the quality of the food was amazingly good, with a great selection of locally sourced produce. the complimentary sherry and afternoon tea were lovely touches, as well.
Although the rooms were comfortable and well-appointed, they could have been cleaner. the price of the meals was quite high, especially considering the limited selection on the menu.
